SUBJECT ARCHIVE

Two-Tier is a naked money grab
2006-JUN-19
First, let us separate the hype from the facts. The "free internet" is not going to end, and it might not even go any slower. The two-tier system will not threaten democracy, but it is still a bad idea.

My first problem with the concept of a two-teir network is that it attempts to create an artificial scarcity situation to squeeze money out of big companies while robbing you of services you have already paid for.

Definition of a liberal
2006-JUN-15
EDITORS NOTE: I wish I could say it was my original work, but I cannot. Someone emailed it to me. I have no idea who the original author is, but if someone is claiming copyright and it is not in the public domain, please let me know!

1. You have to be against capital punishment, but support abortion on demand.

2. You have to believe that businesses create oppression and governments create prosperity.

15 Points
2006-JUN-14
EDITORS NOTE: More than seven years ago I asked my father to compose an article defining the lable "Conservative", and as with all real wisdom, it still applies today. (Thanks dad. I love you.)

I have been asked what it means to be a conservative. I have compiled a list of 15 values that can be identified as conservative. See how many you agree with.

Racists to run American ports now
2006-MAR-09
Looks like the smart people at Dubia Port World saw the writing on the wall. No matter what happened from here on out anyone looking Arabic must be compromised in the "war on terror" and cannot be trusted to be honorable people.

Death to Radical Islam
2006-FEB-20
Frankly, I'm getting sick of the whole ignorant ass riots and other murderous shenanigans of the so called "Radical Islam". Death to their ideology, and if need be, death to them too.

Bush was right, again.
2005-OCT-17
Science is showing that progress and ethics have no problem coexisting. George Bush's ban on funding fetal embryonic stem cell research proves right thing to do.

Bush is my Hero

Well, at least that is what one of my more liberal friends said to me. Apparently he doesn't understand my position. Allow me to clarify.

Researchers prove hang wringers wrong, again
2005-AUG-22
Headline reads "Researchers devise new technique for creating human stem cells" and shows those who said stem cell research would be thwarted by "lack of federal funding"* to be wrong on top of already being shown to be liars.

Stupid Mom, stupider driver
2005-AUG-16
Cindy Sheehan is a moron. I sort of understand, being driven to moronic heights as she has by the devistating loss of her son. But her antics abuse the memory of her son and accomplish nothing.

It is just going to get scarier
2005-APR-12
Like it or not, biotechnology is coming to change your world. Plenty of people were made uncomfortable with things like cell phones and the internet, but that is passing. But nothing, and I do mean nothing, will have the out of this world impact on our lives like biotech.

April Fools, on George Bush
2005-APR-07
I’m sure President Bush meant his words when he called the minute man project “vigilantes”, but it just proved he is out of touch with citizens on the issue of border security. He has gone a bit Washington, and we need to bring him back to earth. April fools George, they were not kidding.

A fascinating recounting of the history of physics. Watch as the modern concepts of motion, intertia and gravity come into being as the most brilliant minds of all time struggle to explain observed phenomena, and how their setting and even the church all play a role to bring us to where we are today.
